Crossway grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to access the content of ESVBible.org (“License”) for your own informational purposes. Crossway, in its sole discretion, may terminate your License if your conduct is found to be unlawful, inconsistent with, or in violation of, the letter or spirit of this Agreement. You agree that your ESVBible.org login name and password are personal to you and non-transferable. You agree that you will not allow any other person to use your login name or password to access ESVBible.org. You may download or print information from ESVBible.org, but you may not copy or download more than 500 consecutive verses or more than one-half of any book of the Bible or their equivalent measured in bytes.
ESVBible.org is for your personal and non-commercial use only. You may not modify, distribute, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or content obtained from or otherwise connected to ESVBible.org.
ACCESS TO ESVBIBLE.ORG IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR RESPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOUR USE OF ESVBIBLE.ORG IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THERE IS ALWAYS THE POSSIBILITY OF ENCOUNTERING COMPUTER VIRUSES, AND PLACING YOUR SYSTEM ONLINE IN ITSELF CAN OPEN YOU TO OUTSIDE ATTACK. CROSSWAY DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ASSUME LIABILITY FOR VIRUSES. CROSSWAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY DELAY OR ERROR IN ACCESS OR TRANSMISSION, IMPROPER USE, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION RELATED TO ESVBIBLE.ORG. CROSSWAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR TERMINATION OF YOUR LICENSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL CROSSWAY BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. YOUR STATE’S LAW MAY OVERRIDE OR DISPLACE SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Crossway and you with respect to ESVBible.org. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflicts of laws provisions. Sole and exclusive jurisdiction for any action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be an appropriate state or federal court located in Cook County, Illinois. Any cause of action you may have with respect to this Agreement must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of the Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the Agreement, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. You may not assign this Agreement or your rights or obligations under this Agreement.
